Rilisan kedua Chaylin sekaligus single pertamanya dalam bahasa Inggris, “Glad I Met You”, adalah balada pop yang membangkitkan semangat tentang patah hati, penyembuhan, rasa syukur, dan pertumbuhan pribadi.
Dengan aransemen alat musik gesek yang sinematik dan vokal yang intim, lagu ini menelusuri perjalanan emosional dari kehilangan menuju pembaruan. Ditulis setelah sebuah perpisahan pribadi, “Glad I Met You” tidak menghapus rasa sakit. Sebaliknya, lagu ini memandang ke belakang dengan jujur dan mengubah kenangan menjadi kekuatan.
Gambaran jalan terbuka, bekas luka yang bertahan, dan gerak maju membawa pendengar melalui perjalanan jatuh, belajar, lalu bangkit kembali. Pada intinya, lagu ini menemukan rasa syukur di tengah kesedihan dan menghargai apa yang pernah diberikan sebuah hubungan, bahkan setelah hubungan itu berakhir.
